As you all know, Matt and I have been living and taking care of his Grandma Gwen's house. It's a great deal for us because we get a house to live in all to ourselves! It's quite ideal for a newly married couple.
1. The floating oven- I love that the oven is randomly on a wall that is not in the kitchen. It is weird, but kind of convenient when you're cooking. You can throw something in the oven and it's completely out of the way while you are doing other things in the kitchen.
2. The bathrooms- I bet you didn't think that pink toliets existed anymore but we have one!! Both the bathrooms have beautiful flowered wallpaper as well and one even has a chandelier.
3. The organ. Need I say more...
4. The big mirrors (we have two of these huge, classy things), pink walls, and turquoise carpet- It really makes it feel homey. We are lucky enough to have this color scheme throughout the entire house. (Except of course the flower wallpaper in the bathrooms)
Okay...enough of the quirks. Now here are things I seriously like.
5. Heated floors- I don't have a picture for this one but this house is heated through the floors. I love it!! My feet are always freezing and I hate standing on cold tile in other homes. This house is different...when you step on the tiles of the bathroom and kitchen they feel SO warm and nice. They instantly warm your cold feet.
6. The family room- This is where I completely relax everyday after work and school and watch all the wonderful series on TV this fall. We do have some of our own stuff in this room so I love being in here.
7. Our bed/bedroom- Who doesn't love their bedroom? Matt painted our headboard for us and we got all new bedding when we got married. I love our $12 dollar Ikea lamps. I also love the bedroom because going to sleep at night is my favorite time of day.
8. The kitchen- It is filled with fun wedding gifts. A kitchen aid, cute bowls, pitchers, a cake stand, and the necessities of course. I LOVE kitchens. I think they are one of the most important parts of a house and they can be so neat!!

9. Pictures and paintings- Of course being the daughter of Pat and Rolfe I have been given some fabulous paintings for our house. I also love the framed pictures we have of our parents on a side table in the living room. I basically love all the fab things on our coffee table and side tables.
10. Our fab view and backyard - From the kitchen and family room we have a view of the entire city of Provo. It's so fun to live in a place with a neat view! We also have a beautiful backyard with tons of trees and a pond.
So that's the Lloyd residence for now. Even though Grandma Gwen and I don't have the exact same taste we have loved living here and feel so lucky to have a house to live in!!

Eve- you have some neat things! I love all the rugs and pillows and your bed is darling. And your backyard is great. Your pad is a lot nicer than what Nate and I had when we first got married. Good work.
kay honestly, i think that it's a darling house. at least the bathrooms and the colors are SO outlandish that you can just laugh at them. your touches and furniture though are absolutely perfect. i can't wait to see it!

You have done so many cute things. I love your bed! And when I was little, I wanted that same color of carpet in my house. So funny! The house is NEAT!
